New Delhi: Author and sports mentor Dr. Harendra Singh Chaudhary has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated his book Sapno Se Shikhar Tak: Anushasan, Sangharsh Aur Safalta Ki Kahani and his vision of encouraging young people to pursue sports.
According to Chaudhary, he presented his book to the Prime Minister during an interaction and discussed his broader vision for promoting sports among the younger generation. He said the Prime Minister appreciated the effort behind the book and the message it seeks to convey to aspiring sportspersons.
Sapno Se Shikhar Tak focuses on discipline, struggle, perseverance and the challenges faced by athletes on their journey towards success. Chaudhary said the book was written with the intention of motivating young boys and girls to take sports seriously and work towards representing the country at higher levels.
The author also spoke about his initiative Khel Ki Pathshala, which aims to provide young players with training, guidance and motivation. According to Chaudhary, the initiative is intended to identify and encourage sporting talent at an early stage and help young athletes develop through proper guidance and consistent practice.
Chaudhary said that his larger vision is linked to the 2036 Olympics, with the objective of preparing the next generation of Indian athletes well in advance. He believes that creating the right sporting environment for children today can help develop athletes capable of competing at major international platforms in the future.
“The purpose of the book is not limited to telling a story. I want young boys and girls to understand that talent needs discipline, hard work and the right guidance to turn into achievement,” Chaudhary said while explaining the idea behind the book.
He further said that Khel Ki Pathshala is an extension of the same vision, with a focus on helping young sportspersons receive opportunities and direction in their formative years.
The photograph of the interaction shows Chaudhary presenting a copy of Sapno Se Shikhar Tak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The appreciation and observations attributed to the Prime Minister in this report are based on Chaudhary’s account of the interaction.
The author said he hopes to take the message of the book and the Khel Ki Pathshala initiative to a wider group of young athletes as part of his long-term vision for Indian sports.
