Uttarakhand Governor Praises Dr. Harendra Singh Chaudhary’s Book, Calls It an Inspiration for 2036 Olympics

Dehradun, August 21, 2026: Uttarakhand Governor praised the book “Sapno Se Shikhar Tak – Anushasan, Sangharsh Aur Safalta Ki Kahani” authored by Dr. Harendra Singh Chaudhary, describing it as an inspiring work that can motivate athletes preparing for the 2036 Olympics.

Dr. Harendra Singh Chaudhary is an international Ultra Runner, sports coach, mentor and sports administrator. According to the book’s introduction, his journey began with limited resources and gradually took him to national and international sporting platforms through determination, discipline and an unwavering belief in his goals.

The book reflects his personal journey and explores the realities of sports, including struggle, discipline, mental preparation, setbacks, leadership and the importance of learning from failure. It is presented not only as the story of an athlete but also as a motivational guide for young people who want to turn their dreams into reality.

Through his initiative “Khel Ki Pathshala,” Dr. Chaudhary has also been working to provide young athletes with training, guidance and motivation. The initiative focuses particularly on creating opportunities for young girls and nurturing sporting talent for the future.

During the occasion, the Uttarakhand Governor appreciated Dr. Chaudhary’s effort to document his own life and sporting journey in the form of a book. He remarked that it was noteworthy that an athlete had himself written about his lifestyle and experiences, adding that the book could provide significant motivation and inspiration to athletes preparing for the 2036 Olympic Games.

The Governor also extended his best wishes to Dr. Chaudhary for the book and wished him a bright future. He conveyed special wishes to the girls associated with Khel Ki Pathshala, particularly those aspiring to compete at the 2036 Olympics, and assured his support for initiatives working in the interest of young female athletes.

The book was formally unveiled during the occasion by a woman IPS officer.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Harendra Singh Chaudhary thanked the Governor and the IPS officer for their encouragement, blessings and support. He said the recognition further strengthened his commitment to inspiring young athletes and helping build a generation capable of representing India on the international sporting stage.

The book, published by Astitva Prakashan, carries a message centred on discipline, perseverance and the belief that success is achieved by consistently working towards one’s dreams.
