Dr. Ambar Pare: Advancing Indian Ancient Medical Systems, Health Education and the Indian Knowledge Tradition

As the world increasingly embraces preventive healthcare and holistic wellness, India’s traditional systems of healing are receiving renewed academic and global attention.

Ancient disciplines such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy and the broader Indian Knowledge Tradition are being explored not only for their historical value but also for their potential contribution to health education, lifestyle management and integrative healthcare.

Among the professionals working in this field is Dr. Ambar Pare, whose academic journey is dedicated to promoting Indian Ancient Medical Systems, Indian Ancient Spiritual Health Science, Ayurveda, Yoga Sciences, Naturopathy, Consciousness Studies and holistic health education.

Based in Dulia village, Harda district, Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Ambar Pare has devoted his career to the study, research, training and public awareness of India’s traditional health sciences. His work focuses on encouraging scientific understanding, responsible documentation and interdisciplinary research while promoting preventive healthcare, healthy living and lifelong wellness.

Dr. Ambar Pare comes from a respected agricultural family in Harda. His father, the late Shri Rajendra Pare, was known as a progressive farmer and a respected social figure whose values of discipline, education and public service greatly influenced the family. His elder brother, Dr. Ankur Pare, has established himself in education, research and authorship with more than eleven published books, while Dr. Ambar Pare chose to dedicate his professional life to traditional health sciences and holistic healthcare.

His educational background reflects a unique blend of modern and traditional health sciences. After completing his schooling at St. Mary’s Co-Ed School, Harda, and Universal Academy, Indore, he earned degrees in Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS).

He further strengthened his expertise with advanced qualifications including PGDHHM, PGDCFT, Master in Alternative Medicine, Post Graduate Diploma in Infectious Diseases, and Certificate in Diabetes Mellitus. This multidisciplinary education enables him to approach healthcare from both clinical and holistic perspectives.

A defining influence in Dr. Ambar Pare’s life came through the guidance of Mahayogi Late Gurudev Shri Jamuna Prasad Chaturvedi Ji, whose teachings inspired him to explore Yoga, Meditation, Consciousness Studies, Prana Science and the Indian Knowledge Tradition in greater depth. Drawing inspiration from the spiritual lineage of Mahavatar Shri Babaji, he continues to study the relationship between physical health, mental balance, spiritual awareness and holistic human development.

Dr. Ambar Pare believes that health is much more than the absence of disease. According to his philosophy, true well-being is achieved when physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social dimensions of life remain in harmony. His academic work highlights how preventive healthcare, balanced nutrition, disciplined living, yoga, meditation, environmental awareness and responsible lifestyle choices can contribute to long-term wellness.

His research interests cover a wide range of traditional disciplines, including Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Yoga Sciences, Lifestyle Medicine, Consciousness Studies, Prana Science, Preventive Healthcare and Health Education. He also studies subjects such as Yoga Therapy, Meditation Therapy, Marma Therapy, Mudra Science, Hydrotherapy, Diet Therapy, Panchamahabhuta principles, Chakra studies, Energy Healing and other traditional wellness practices within the framework of education, research and public awareness. Rather than presenting these systems as isolated disciplines, Dr. Ambar Pare encourages their academic study through scientific inquiry, historical understanding and interdisciplinary collaboration.

The practical extension of his work is the Dr. Ambar Pare Naturopathy Centre in Harda, Madhya Pradesh. The centre serves as a platform for health consultations, lifestyle guidance, public awareness programmes and holistic health education. Its objective is to encourage preventive healthcare through natural living, health literacy and informed lifestyle choices. People from different parts of India and countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Singapore, Mauritius, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar have connected with the centre for educational interaction and health guidance. Ayurvedic medicines and health-related products recommended under his guidance are also made available across India and internationally through online and courier services.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Ambar Pare regularly participates in national and international seminars, scientific conferences, workshops, expert lectures and community health awareness programmes. These engagements promote meaningful discussions on integrative healthcare, lifestyle medicine, preventive health education and the growing relevance of India’s traditional knowledge systems in modern society.

His contributions have received recognition from several prestigious institutions. In 2019, he was honoured with the Fellowship of the Royal Society of Medicine (FRSM), acknowledging his professional engagement in healthcare. He has also received honours including the World Book of Records Recognition, G-20 Civil 20 Seva Summit Honour, Health Care Award and Health Excellence Award, recognising his work in health education, community awareness and holistic healthcare.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ambar Pare has consistently advocated that India’s ancient health knowledge should be preserved through responsible research, scientific study and authentic documentation. He believes traditional wisdom should neither be accepted blindly nor dismissed without academic evaluation. Instead, it should be explored through evidence-based research, interdisciplinary education and constructive dialogue.

As global interest in Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Integrative Health, Lifestyle Medicine and the Indian Knowledge Tradition continues to grow, Dr. Ambar Pare remains committed to advancing health education, preventive healthcare and holistic human development. Through his research, training programmes and public awareness initiatives, he continues to contribute to the responsible understanding and promotion of India’s rich healthcare heritage while encouraging meaningful dialogue between traditional wisdom and contemporary health science.
