The 100 kg one-hand dumbbell record attempt was organized by the World Senkukai Karate Organization as part of martial arts and physical training activities.

The event was organized by the World Senkukai Karate Organization. The performance was witnessed in real time by a team from the Asian Book of World Records. The team observed the entire attempt and completed their verification process before granting recognition. Two eyewitnesses were also present during the record attempt.
After the performance, the Asian Book of World Records issued a Certificate of Achievement on 18 August 2026, recognizing Hanshi Shashwat Kumar for holding a 100 kg dumbbell with one hand for 60 seconds.
