November 02, Srinagar: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s Legislative Assembly (MLA) members are prepared to choose the party’s leader on Sunday, November 1.
According to those with knowledge of the situation, MLA Sunil Sharma of the Padder-Nagseni Constituency is expected to be selected by the MLAs at their meeting tomorrow in Srinagar at Church Lane.
It is anticipated that the meeting will begin tomorrow at 11:00 AM.
According to sources, Devinder Singh Rana, the MLA Nagrota, who passed away on Thursday night at the Faridabad hospital in Delhi, was the first pick. Political leaders nationwide expressed their condolences for Singh’s passing.
The event will be attended by a number of BJP heavyweights, including J&K President Ravinder Raina and Tarun Chugh, the party’s J&K Incharge.
