Dr. Abhijeet Sengupta is a renowned educator, researcher, and mentor whose contribution to the field of education has transformed the lives of thousands of students, especially medical aspirants across Bihar and India. With more than 25 years of teaching experience, he has played a vital role in shaping future doctors, researchers, and scholars through his dedication, knowledge, and passion for teaching.
Dr. Sengupta completed his Master’s degree in Zoology with First Class distinction from Bhagalpur University and later earned his Ph.D. in Zoology (Biochemistry). During his research career, he received prestigious ICAR and CSIR fellowships and worked with a Raman Magsaysay Award-winning research team. His academic journey reflects excellence, discipline, and a deep commitment toward scientific education.
Over the years, he served in several reputed educational institutions and coaching centers, mentoring thousands of NEET and IIT-JEE aspirants. His teaching methods, clarity of concepts, and motivational guidance helped students from small towns achieve success in the medical field. Due to his extraordinary efforts, Munger gradually emerged as a significant educational hub for medical preparation.
Apart from teaching, Dr. Sengupta is also an accomplished author. His books, including NCERT Elixir Objective Biology and Advances in Zoology, are highly appreciated among NEET students for their easy explanations and conceptual depth.

Dr. Abhijeet Sengupta retired in June 2025 as a Senior Faculty of Life Science from the Education Division, Government of Bihar. Even after retirement, his dedication toward education continues. He is currently working as a Senior Academician of Biology at BIOMED CLASSES, Munger, Bihar, an institution known for producing thousands of successful doctors through NEET preparation.
