The Cluster University of Jammu Kabaddi (Men) team is all set to participate in the North Zone Inter-University Kabaddi Tournament to be held at Galgotias University, Noida. This marks a historic moment as it is the first team from Cluster University of Jammu to participate in an inter-university tournament in the academic session 2025–26.
This significant milestone has been achieved under the guidance and encouragement of Prof. K.S. Chandersekar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu.
On this occasion, Ms. Ankur Mahajan (JKAS), Registrar, Cluster University of Jammu, Prof. D.S. Manhas, Dean Student Welfare, and Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director, Physical Education and Sports, graced the event and extended their best wishes to the team. They congratulated the players and motivated them to showcase their talent and bring laurels to the University.
The participation of the Kabaddi team is a significant step towards promoting sports culture and encouraging student participation in national-level tournaments.
