In today’s fast-changing society, individuals who dedicate their lives to the welfare of others stand as pillars of inspiration. One such personality is Mohinder Singh Khalsa, a respected social worker and community leader who has spent decades serving society with commitment, honesty, and compassion. At the age of 59, Khalsa continues to remain actively involved in social and public service, guided by the belief that serving humanity is the highest form of duty.
Mohinder Singh Khalsa shares that his journey of social service began during his childhood. From a very young age, he developed a strong inclination toward helping those in need and supporting community welfare initiatives. According to him, service should never be limited to a particular religion, caste, or community. Instead, it should extend to every individual in society. This belief has been the guiding force behind his lifelong commitment to social work.
Khalsa entered the field of politics at the age of sixteen. Over the years, he gained valuable experience while working with different political platforms and staying connected with grassroots issues affecting common people. Since 2014, he has been actively associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and has contributed to various organizational activities and election campaigns.
During his political journey, Khalsa has had the opportunity to work alongside several prominent leaders. He recalls working for senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani during an election campaign, an experience he considers a significant milestone in his political career. Later, he also participated in the election campaign of BJP leader Shikha Rai during the Municipal Corporation elections. In addition, he actively supported BJP leader Ravinder Singh Marwah in his electoral campaign and grassroots political activities.
Apart from politics, Mohinder Singh Khalsa holds several important positions in religious and social institutions. He currently serves as the Senior Vice Chairman of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (Vigilance Department) and also as the Senior Vice Chairman of the Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib Chandni Chowk Sub Committee. Furthermore, he is the President of the Delhi Sikh Welfare Association (Regd. NGO established in 2014), through which he continues to work for community welfare and social upliftment.
Despite his active involvement in public life, Khalsa leads a simple lifestyle. Alongside his social and community work, he runs a small business and believes strongly in earning through honest hard work. For him, serving the nation and helping society progress remain the guiding principles of his life.
Through decades of dedication to social service, community welfare, and public engagement, Mohinder Singh Khalsa continues to inspire many people who believe in the values of compassion, unity, and service to humanity.
