Through exceptional speed, discipline, and determination, Hanshi Shaswat Kumar has emerged as one of the most recognized martial artists on the global stage. As the founder of Senkoukai Karate, he has built a strong reputation for his unique approach, consistency, and extraordinary speed.

He is widely regarded as one of India’s leading karate masters and is considered among the few Grandmasters to achieve wide international recognition. Notably, he is recognized as India’s first internationally verified karate Grandmaster, marking a historic milestone for Indian martial arts.

In a remarkable display of speed and endurance, he has achieved multiple world records in rapid punching techniques, further strengthening his global identity.

Further highlighting his dominance, he also set a new record of 150 backfist punches in 10 seconds, achieving an incredible speed of approximately 15 punches per second, breaking his own previous record.

His achievements extend beyond speed. He has reportedly received more than 20 international martial arts awards within a single year and has been honored with International Hall of Fame awards continuously for 10 years.

He was awarded the prestigious Black Belt 10th Dan by the All Japan Martial Arts Organization Headquarters, Japan, presented by President Soke Yoshimoto Tanaka.

He has also received special titles such as ‘The Flash of Karate’ from Grandmaster Yoshio Tanibata and ‘God of Real Combat Karate’ from Japan. Today, he is regarded among the World Karate Legends.

One of the most historic milestones in his career is completing the 100-Man Kumite, where he fought a total of 108 fights and emerged victorious. This achievement has been recognized by the Martial Arts Book of World Records.

He is also regarded as the first karate Grandmaster from India—and among the first in the world—to hold four prestigious titles simultaneously: Soke, Hanshi, Grandmaster, and Supreme Grandmaster.

His mentors include Grandmaster Masaki Watanabe, Grandmaster Ryogo Ito, Grandmaster Yoshio Tanibata, and Grandmaster Yoshimoto Tanaka, who played a significant role in shaping his journey.

Despite facing challenges and politics within the martial arts community, he chose an independent path and continued to move forward with determination, becoming an inspiration for aspiring martial artists.
