Students of Cluster University of Jammu Bring Laurels to the Institution

Jammu, March 24, 2026: Students of Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) have once again brought pride and recognition to the University by securing remarkable achievements at several prestigious national-level events, reflecting the institution’s continued commitment to excellence in youth, cultural, and academic activities.

At the AIU 39th National Youth Festival held in Chennai, Jaspreet Singh and Manmeet Kaur represented Cluster University of Jammu with distinction and clinched the Gold Medal in the Debate Competition, showcasing exceptional intellectual and communicative skills at the national platform. In the National Integration Camp (NIC) – West Bengal, the University team comprising Nirdosh, Tanika, Divya, Sneha, Aryan, Aftab, Kunal, and Ashish delivered an outstanding performance, securing multiple top positions and emerging as the Overall Champions of the event. Similarly, at NIC – Haryana, students Krishay and Nitasha demonstrated exemplary talent by securing various positions in different competitive events.

In recognition of these outstanding accomplishments, the University organized a Felicitation Ceremony at the Conference Hall of the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretariat, Administrative Block. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. K.S. Chandrashekhar, in the presence of Dr. Twinkle Suri, Dean Academic Affairs, congratulated the students for their commendable achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in both academic and co-curricular domains, emphasizing the importance of holistic development.

The felicitation ceremony was conducted under the leadership of Dean Students Welfare, Prof. D.S. Manhas, along with the dedicated team of the Directorate of Students Welfare, including Dr. Ashaq Hussain, Associate Dean DSW; Dr. Davinder Kour, Chairperson, Campus Cultural Committee; Prof. Amit Pal Kaur, NSS Coordinator, CLUJ; and Dr. Shubhra Jamwal, Assistant Dean DSW, supported by NSS Programme Officers from the constituent colleges.

The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and inspiration, celebrating the achievements of the students and reaffirming Cluster University of Jammu’s commitment to nurturing talent, leadership, and national integration through meaningful student engagement.
