Jammu, Nov. 9: On Friday, a senior Army White Knight Corps official traveled to the Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir to assess the ongoing efforts to find the terrorists who killed two Village Defence Guards.
During a thorough search, the bodies of Nazir Ahmed and Kuldeep Kumar, the two Village Defence Guards (VDGs) murdered by terrorists, were discovered close to a rivulet, according to officials.
After being kidnapped in the upper reaches of Kishtwar, the two VDGs were executed on Thursday, according to the officials.

The White Knight Corps, based in Jammu, sent General Officer Commanding Lieutenant General Navin Sachdeva to the region on Friday to assess the operations.
To capture the terrorists behind the murders, a massive cordon-and-search operation is in progress.
White Knight Corps posted on X that “the GOC of White Knight Corps, along with commanders, visited Kishtwar and the general area of Bhart Ridge to review the operations in progress.”
To stop the terrorists from fleeing, the area has been cordoned off by the Army, police, and other security forces.
