Jammu, May 23, 2026: Duggar Culture Bridge Society organised a grand Awareness Cultural Programme at Sher-e-Kashmir Public Hr. Sec. School, Bari Brahmana, to spread awareness regarding Mental Health, Psychological Well-Being, Music Therapy, Stress Management and preservation of Duggar Culture among students. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from hundreds of students, teachers and staff members.
The awareness programme was conducted under the leadership of Chairman Rakesh Singh along with active support from Society members and the school administration. The event aimed to educate students about emotional balance, positive thinking, healthy lifestyle, cultural awareness and the role of folk music in reducing stress and improving mental wellness.
During the programme, students were made aware about preserving Duggar folk culture, traditions and moral values in modern society. Special sessions were conducted on Music Therapy, Mental Health Awareness, Stress Reduction Techniques, Emotional Stability and Holistic Development of students.
Addressing the gathering, Chairman Rakesh Singh said that music is not merely a source of entertainment but also a powerful therapy for emotional healing and mental peace. He stated that folk music and cultural activities help students remain mentally relaxed, emotionally strong and socially connected. He further highlighted that increasing academic pressure and changing lifestyles are causing stress, anxiety and negative thinking among students, making yoga, meditation, music and cultural activities essential for psychological well-being.
He also emphasised that Duggar culture promotes humanity, discipline, spirituality, unity and social harmony, urging students to stay connected with their cultural roots and actively participate in educational and cultural programmes for personality development.
Secretary Kajal Sharma interacted with students regarding the importance of education, positive mindset and emotional wellness, while Joint Secretary Suriya Shameem spoke about stress management, self-confidence and healthy communication. Vice Chairman Bahadur Singh and Treasurer Hardip Singh highlighted the need to preserve Duggar culture, traditions and social values. Executive Member Neelam Kumari and Member Surekha Rani coordinated the programme and guided students about healthy lifestyle practices and discipline.
The programme also featured interactive awareness sessions where students shared their views regarding stress, studies and the positive impact of music in daily life. The Principal, teachers and staff members appreciated the efforts of Duggar Culture Bridge Society for organising such an informative and motivational awareness programme beneficial for students and teachers alike.
The event concluded with a collective message promoting Mental Wellness, Positive Thinking, Cultural Preservation and Holistic Development among students.
