YouTube has taken down a video from the show ‘India’s Got Latent’ that included podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, following backlash over his inappropriate comments. The video was removed after the Information and Broadcasting Ministry sent a notice, and Priyank Kanoongo from the National Human Rights Commission also asked for it to be taken down.
Ranveer Allahbadia, who is popular on social media with 4.5 million Instagram followers and over 10.5 million YouTube subscribers, made a shocking remark during the roast show hosted by comedian Samay Raina. In a viral clip, he asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?”
This comment quickly spread on social media, leading to a lot of criticism. Many people are worried about the growing amount of adult content available to all age groups, including children, and how it might affect society.
