Jammu, 3 February 2025 – A young man riding a motorcycle was killed in a serious accident with a cement truck this morning in Jammu. The crash happened around 7:30 AM on the main road near the JDA Complex, Treasury, and Radha Krishna Temple in the New Plot area.
Officials say the motorcyclist died at the scene. He was reportedly from Bhaderwah and was staying with relatives in Chinor.
After the accident, police filed a report under the hit-and-run section at the Bakshi Nagar Police Station. They are now trying to find the truck driver involved in the crash.
Emergency responders, including DSP Satish Bhardwaj and other police officers, quickly arrived at the scene to help. The accident caused heavy traffic delays as police worked to clear the area and gather information.
