In Jammu, two brothers tragically lost their lives when their SUV skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Doda district, police officials reported on Monday.
Mukesh Kumar (29) and his younger sibling Pawan Kumar (24) were involved in the accident at Khellani nallah late Sunday night. Local rescuers arrived promptly but found both brothers dead at the scene after their vehicle rolled down the hilly road.
The siblings had set out from their home in Brartha-Khellani towards Pull Doda, and their vehicle sustained severe damage.
The bodies were taken to the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital in Doda and will be released to their family for last rites following the completion of legal procedures.
