Srinagar Police, along with the Tehsildar of South Srinagar, recently raided the Shree Maruti Courier Company in Karan Nagar. They acted on reliable information and discovered a large stash of illegal drugs.
During the raid, police checked several suspicious packages and found many banned substances. They seized 240 bottles of Codeine, 20 boxes containing 3,360 tablets of Spasmo Proxyvon, 78 strips (780 tablets) of Vivotrip, and 76 strips (760 tablets) of Pregabalin. All the drugs have been taken to the Police Station in Karan Nagar for further investigation.
An official confirmed the discovery and said that an inquiry has started to find out where the drugs came from and who they were meant for. Police are working hard to identify the people involved in this illegal drug trade.
