Srinagar Police have arrested two drug dealers and taken a large amount of illegal drugs from them as part of their ongoing fight against drug-related crimes.
The arrests happened at a checkpoint set up by the Police Post Urdu Bazar in Maharaj Gunj, Srinagar. The first person arrested was Owais Mushtaq Dar, who lives in Sheikh Mohalla. Police found a significant quantity of drugs in his possession. A case has been registered against him under FIR No. 05/2025 at the Police Station Maharaj Gunj, and an investigation is underway.
While investigating, police identified another drug dealer named Momin Bilal Kanu, who lives in Banday Kocha, Maharaj Gunj. Police also found a large amount of illegal drugs with him during a search.
Both men have been arrested, and the investigation is still ongoing to gather more information about their activities.
