Srinagar Police have arrested two men for selling drugs and have taken a large amount of illegal substances from them.
The arrests happened during a routine check by police officers from Police Station Chanapora. They stopped a motorcycle with the registration number JK01AB-3331, which had two people on it. The men tried to escape but were caught by the police.
When the police searched them, they found a significant quantity of drugs. The arrested individuals are Shahrim Anasari, son of Tasleem Anasari, and Saqib Ansari, son of Sajad Anasari. Both are from Muzaffar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, and currently live in Mandir Bagh, Srinagar.
A case has been registered against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, and the investigation is ongoing.
