Royal Enfield has just launched the Scram 440 and it’s already creating a buzz among motorcycle fans. The starting price for the Trail variant is Rs. 2.08 lakh, which is only Rs. 1,300 more than the previous model, the Scram 411. The more expensive Force variant is priced at Rs. 2.15 lakh, both prices being ex-showroom.
The Scram 440 is powered by a new 443cc air/oil-cooled engine that produces 25.4bhp at 6,250rpm and 34Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. It comes with a six-speed gearbox, making it a better option for long rides.
In terms of design, the Scram 440 looks a lot like the Scram 411. It features a round headlight with a small cowl, a large fuel tank, and a slim tail section. The Trail variant has traditional 19/17-inch spoke wheels with tube-type tyres, while the top-spec Force variant comes with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres.
For a smooth ride, the Scram 440 has telescopic forks in the front and a monoshock in the back. It also has a single disc brake at both the front and rear, with an improved front brake for better stopping power.
The bike is packed with modern features, including an LED headlight and switchable dual-channel ABS. Royal Enfield has also introduced new color options like Force Teal, Force Grey, Force Blue, Trail Green, and Trail Blue.
With the launch of the Scram 440, Royal Enfield aims to attract adventure motorcycle lovers by offering a stylish, powerful, and practical bike. Riders are excited to get their hands on this new model, which is set to make a big impact in the market.
