Recently, there were rumors on social media that Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is engaged to Priya Saroj, who is a Member of Parliament. However, Priya’s father, Tufani Saroj, has said that these rumors are not true.
In an interview, Tufani Saroj explained that while there were talks about Rinku and Priya possibly being together, they are not engaged. He mentioned that Rinku’s family talked to their relatives about this, but nothing has been officially decided.
Priya Saroj is 25 years old and works as a lawyer at the Supreme Court. She studied at Delhi University. Her father, Tufani Saroj, has a strong political background, having served in Parliament in 1999, 2004, and 2009.
On the cricket side, Rinku Singh is part of the Indian team that will play against England starting January 22. This series will have five T20 matches and three One Day Internationals (ODIs). Rinku’s name is already on the list for the T20 matches, and fans are excited to see him play.
Rinku mainly plays T20 cricket for India but has also played in ODIs. So far, he has played two ODIs and 30 T20 internationals. In his two ODI matches, he has scored 55 runs, with a highest score of 38. In T20 internationals, he has scored 507 runs in 22 matches, with an average of 46.09 and a strike rate of 165.14. He has also made three half-centuries, with a top score of 69 not out.
