Srinagar, November 6: On Wednesday, during a midnight encounter in the Lolab Forests in the Kupwara region of North Kashmir, an unnamed militant was killed.

According to official sources, an operation that started late last night has resulted in the death of one militant. The local operation is still in progress.

After receiving precise information regarding the presence of some militants, a joint army and police force began a cordon and search operation in Lolab Forests late on Tuesday.
