Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that Jammu and Kashmir is not fully normal yet because terror attacks still happen. However, efforts to bring peace are ongoing. His comments came after Home Minister Amit Shah claimed that removing Article 370 helped end terrorism in the region.
Abdullah also denied rumors about changing Jammu and Kashmir’s name to “Kashyap,” saying there is no such plan.
Regarding snowfall, Abdullah assured that the government is ready. They have held meetings and learned from past experiences to handle any issues better this time.
On electricity, he said they are working hard to improve supply. While there are still power cuts, they try to fix problems quickly, and this year’s situation is better than before.
