Srinagar October 30: According to officials, a mob attacked MLA Gurez Nazir Ahmad Khan’s rally in the Gujran region of Tulail in the Bandipora district of north Kashmir Friday evening, injuring at least a dozen persons.
Twelve individuals were injured when the crowd attacked the gathering in Gujran, according to an officer present . Several vehicles were also damaged. According to him, three of the injured were referred to a hospital in Srinagar after being transported to one for treatment.

According to the source, an investigation is still underway and a case has been filed under the applicable legal provisions. But so far, he claimed, no one has been arrested.
Police arrived on the scene and fired smoke bombs to disperse the crowd and bring the situation under control as confrontations broke out.
MLA Gurez Nazir Ahmad Khan, meanwhile, charged that the rally arrival in Gujran was targeted by BJP employees and family members of BJP politician Faqeer Mohammad Khan, who lost the election against him.
DDC Tulail Ajaz Ahmad Khan, son of BJP politician Faqeer Khan, responded by saying that Nazir Khan’s rally attendees inflamed his workers by throwing stones at their homes.
He said that because of the villagers’ resistance, there were fights that injured our employees and damaged multiple homes.
