Srinagar, 16 April: A 44-year-old man from the Dalgate area of Srinagar has reportedly died due to medical negligence at the Chest Disease (CD) Hospital. The man, named Rafiq Ahmad, went to the hospital on Wednesday morning after complaining of chest pain.
His family claims that the doctor on duty did not provide proper treatment. They say that when they asked for better care for Rafiq, the doctor misbehaved with them and left the ward after Rafiq passed away.
The family is now asking for a thorough investigation into what happened and wants action taken against the doctor. They are urging the authorities to make sure that such incidents do not happen again.
An official from CD Hospital confirmed that an investigation is ongoing. “We are looking into the matter, and if any negligence is found, it will be dealt with seriously,” the official said.
This sad incident has raised concerns about the quality of medical care at the hospital. The family hopes for justice and better healthcare in the region as the investigation continues.
