KPDCL to Implement Maintenance Power Shutdown in Baramulla and Sopore on January 2

The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Ltd (KPDCL) announced that there will be a power cut on January 2 in the Baramulla and Sopore areas for maintenance work.

In Sopore, the power will be out from 9 am to 3 pm to fix the Amargarh line. This will affect places like the hospital, Model Town, Kapra, and Noorbagh.

In Baramulla, the Sheeri Grid Station will be off from 11 am to 2 pm to replace damaged poles and help with construction at Lalad Amargarh. Areas like Kanlibagh, GMC Baramulla, Old Town, and Janbazpora will be affected.

The Delina Grid Station will also be shut down from 10 am to 3 pm for maintenance. This will impact Sopore-II, Kranshivan Colony, Amargarh, and Zonal Bank.

The power cut depends on the weather and will follow safety rules. People in these areas should plan ahead.
