Police in Awantipora, South Kashmir, announced the arrest of four people on Wednesday, suspected of helping the Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorist group.
The police, working with other security forces, arrested the four in Tral. They are: Mudasir Ahmad Naik, Umar Nazir Sheikh, Inayat Firdoos Rather, and Salman Nazir Lone.
Police found items linked to Jaish-e-Mohammad with the suspects. They are believed to have been helping the group by providing supplies and moving weapons and ammunition around Tral and Awantipora.
A case has been opened at the Tral Police Station, and the investigation is ongoing.
