Kupwara, December 2, 2024: Today, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ms. Ayushi Sudan, IAS, conducted inspections at various examination centers throughout the district to ensure the orderly conduct of the OMR-based examination for the position of Constable in the Home Department, organized by the J&K Services Selection Board (JKSSB).
During her visits to several locations, including AGS Wayan, GHSS Kupwara, GDC Kupwara, and GDC Handwara, she assessed the arrangements, interacted with examination personnel and candidates, and stressed the importance of maintaining transparency, fairness, and strict compliance with established protocols. Ms. Ayushi Sudan was joined by SSP Kupwara Ghulam Geelani Wani and SSP Handwara Mushtaq Ahmad Chowdhury.
The Deputy Commissioner commended the collaborative efforts of the district administration, law enforcement agencies, and examination staff in creating a favorable and secure environment for the candidates. She reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to preserving the integrity and transparency of the recruitment process. In addition, ADC Kupwara, Rouf Rehman, who serves as the chief inspector for examinations, evaluated several exam centers at Trehgam, Kralpora, and Kupwara.
A total of 41 examination centers hosted 9,062 candidates participating in the examination. The district administration remains focused on ensuring smooth and equitable examinations for all candidates while actively working to maintain the credibility of the recruitment process.
