On Thursday, the body of a police officer was found under mysterious circumstances near the district police line in Rajouri.
Officials reported that the officer was discovered lying unconscious near DPL Rajouri. He was quickly taken to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The officer has been identified as Havaldar Nazir Hussain Kohali, a resident of Kewel Budha.
The police have begun an investigation into the incident to find out what happened.
