Prasad said, “I am doing it.” He asked whether Kharge had discussed this advise with Rahul Gandhi, who Prasad claims routinely breaks promises.
The scenario in Himachal Pradesh, where chief minister Sukhvinder Sukhu allegedly urged state workers to sacrifice their salaries, was also criticized by Prasad. He drew attention to the fact that public outcry forced the Congress government to abandon a proposed toilet tax.
Using Karnataka as an example, he charged that the grand old party was making fictitious pronouncements for votes with no intention of carrying them out. Prasad claimed, “They basically make announcements and deceive the public to get votes, and then they do not follow through on their promises.”

Echoing Prasad’s views, Union minister Pralhad Joshi charged that Congress had made empty pledges purely to win elections. Joshi told ANI, “Congress is making false promises and not implementing the commitments in many states throughout the country.”
Mallikarjun Kharge stressed economic prudence and cautioned Congress units about their commitments earlier today.
“They ought to make budget-based assurances public. There will be bankruptcy otherwise. “Everyone would turn against you if there is no money for roads,” Kharge remarked.
Regarding the Shakthi plan, which provides free bus transportation for women, there were divergent opinions inside the Karnataka Congress.
Although a review was suggested, Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy promised that the plan will not be altered. DK Shivakumar, the deputy chief minister, also corrected his position, claiming that his earlier remarks were misunderstood and restating his dedication to the plan.
“We abide by the advice of our elders. I made a misguided statement. I have said what a few have recommended. Closing the schemes is out of the question. I had just mentioned that we would talk about it. However, he claimed that the BJP only wanted to engage in politics.
