Kulgam – A candlelight march was held on Tuesday in several villages of Kulgam, including Behibaag, Yaripora, and Kulgam, to protest against a recent terror attack in Behibaag Village. In this attack, a former Army man was killed, and his wife and niece were injured.
Many people gathered at important spots like Ghanta Ghar, Kulgam, Behibaag, and Yaripora to condemn the targeted killings that happened the day before. The peaceful march took place in the evening and aimed to show unity against violence.
Participants carried candles to symbolize peace and to remember the victim. They also called for justice and an end to violence in the area. The community expressed deep sadness over the tragic event and emphasized the importance of standing together against terrorism.
