The Border Security Force (BSF) has initiated a special training program to empower women living near the international border by equipping them with skills to become beauticians. This initiative is part of the BSF’s broader efforts to promote skill development, self-reliance, and overall prosperity in border areas.
According to a BSF spokesperson, the four-week beautician training program aims to provide essential skills to 30 women in the R S Pura sector. The first phase of the program was conducted from September 16 to October 25 last year, training 15 women. The second phase began on December 23 and will conclude on January 18, involving another group of 15 participants.
Throughout the course, participants are learning various skills required to work as beauticians. Upon completing the second phase, they will receive certificates acknowledging their newly acquired expertise. This initiative not only aims to empower women but also contributes to the holistic growth and development of the border community.
