On Sunday morning, a team from the Border Security Force (BSF) found an old and rusty 82-mm mortar shell near the International Border in Samba district, Jammu and Kashmir. The shell was spotted around 9:45 am in a place called Kamour, which is part of the Ramgarh area.
When the BSF patrol discovered the shell, they quickly secured the area to keep everyone safe. They made sure that no one could get too close to the dangerous object.
The BSF experts are now working to safely defuse the mortar shell. This means they are carefully handling it to make sure it does not explode and cause any harm.
This incident shows how important it is for the BSF to keep an eye on the border areas. Old weapons and explosives can still be dangerous, and the BSF is always ready to protect the people living nearby.
