Baramulla Police are continuing their fight against drugs by arresting two drug peddlers and seizing illegal substances.
A team from Police Station Pattan, led by SHO PS Pattan, stopped a Santro car with the registration number JK01L-7671 at a checkpoint near ITI Pattan. Inside the car were two men:
- Mosin Raja, son of Gh Mohiuddin Tantray, from Tantraypora Palhallan.
- Ashiq Hussain Dar, son of Ab Ahad, from Manzseer Sopore.
During the search, police found 2.30 grams of Brown Sugar. The two men were arrested and taken to Police Station Pattan for further legal action. The Santro car used in the crime was also seized.
A case has been registered at Police Station Pattan, and an investigation is ongoing.
The police urge the public to report any drug dealing or criminal activities to the nearest police station or call 112. Community cooperation is crucial in eliminating the drug problem. Baramulla Police are committed to taking strong legal action against those involved in such activities.
