Anantnag Police Attach Rs 1 Crore Worth of Properties Linked to Drug Crimes

The police in Anantnag are cracking down on drug crimes. They have taken over properties worth Rs 1 crore to fight against drug networks.

In Nowshera Srigufwara, they took a house and land worth ₹20 lakh from Bilal Ahmad Rather, who is involved in a drug case from 2021.

In Sirhama Srigufwara, they seized a house worth Rs 40 lakh from Mohammad Ashraf Ganaie, linked to another drug case from 2021.

In Ainoo Aishmuqam, they took a house worth ₹40 lakh from Rouf Ahmad Nanda, connected to a 2022 drug case.

These properties will stay with the police until the court cases are over. This action is meant to hurt the money sources of drug dealers and warn others not to get involved in drugs.
