Reasi, 22 Feb – police found on Saturday a terrorist hideout in a remote area of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir. The special operations group of the Jammu and Kashmir Police found the hideout in the Simbli-Shajroo forest near Chakrass in the Mahore area.
During the search, they seized a large amount of weapons and ammunition. This included four under barrel grenade launchers (UBGLs), one full magazine and three empty magazines for an AK assault rifle, 268 rounds of different types of ammunition, and four packets of detonators.
So far, no one has been arrested in connection with this find, and the investigation is ongoing. This operation shows the police’s commitment to fighting terrorism and keeping the area safe. More updates will be provided as the investigation continues.
