Jammu, Feb 22 – The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced that there will be power outages in several areas of Jammu on February 22, 23, and 24. These outages are necessary for maintenance and upgrades to the power supply system.
On February 23, power will be cut off from 10 AM to 5 PM in areas such as Kathua Town, Kalibari, Shaheedi Chowk, Patel Nagar, Shastri Nagar, PHE, and nearby places. The Logate Industrial Area, Kumri Kathera, MES Janglote, IIDC, Govindsor, Changran, Nagri, Palli, Nicer Paper Mill, and surrounding areas will also experience outages from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Additionally, Katal-Brahmna, Katal-Gujran, Sherpur, Londi, and nearby areas will have no power on February 23 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Residents of Bhoond, Bani, Duggan, Basohli, Mahanpur, JNV, PHE, Saman Jandrota, and nearby areas will face power cuts on both February 22 and 23 from 9 AM to 5 PM.
On February 23, power will be off from 8 AM to 12 noon in Naryanpur, Barnoti, Flote, Mahichack, Sakta Chack, and nearby areas. There will also be outages in Logate Industry, Sahar, Sher Kotla, Kumri, Kathera, Boura, Bhed Blode, and surrounding locations from 8 AM to 2 PM.
Furthermore, Old Mawa and nearby areas will have a power cut on February 22 from 7 AM to 1 PM. Vijaypur Industry and Old Vijaypur will experience power disruptions on February 22, 23, and 24 from 7 AM to 1 PM.
JPDCL advises residents to prepare for these outages and make necessary arrangements. The maintenance work is important for improving the power supply in the future.
