Jammu, Feb 20– A constable from the Jammu and Kashmir Police lost his life in a road accident on Thursday morning. The accident happened in the Gadigarh area when the constable, Manpreet Singh, who was between 30 and 32 years old, was riding his motorbike.
Police reports say that Manpreet Singh, a Selection Grade Constable living in Basti Govindpura, Simbal Morh, was hit by an e-bus coming from Ranbir Singh Pura. The crash was serious, and he suffered fatal injuries, dying at the scene.
The police have seized the e-bus involved in the accident and taken the driver into custody. They have also registered a case to investigate what happened.
