Abdullah stressed that while the government has an important role in solving the crisis, it cannot do it alone. He encouraged everyone to practice water conservation, saying, “The government must take stronger steps to manage and save water, but we all need to help too.” He urged people in Jammu & Kashmir to change their mindset and understand that water is a limited resource.
The Chief Minister plans to review the actions that the Jal Shakti (Public Health Engineering) Department will take to address the crisis. He also mentioned that he will talk to the residents of Jammu & Kashmir in the coming months to discuss possible solutions together.
As the region deals with this urgent issue, Abdullah’s call for community involvement highlights the need for everyone to work together to manage water wisely in Jammu & Kashmir. With both government efforts and individual responsibility, there is hope for finding effective solutions to the water shortage.
