Jammu Feb 17 – A serious road accident on the Yamuna Expressway near Tappal town has led to the deaths of 3 people from Jammu and left 2 others injured. The accident happened when a speeding bus crashed into a car that was heading to Noida, causing the car to flip over.
The victims were returning home to Jammu after attending the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj. They have been identified as Padam (67) from Nanak Nagar, Yudhveer (50) from Trikuta Nagar, and Savita (65), also from Trikuta Nagar. Their families and friends are heartbroken over their sudden loss.
The injured passengers, Baldev Raj Sharma (71) and Ritu Gupta (48), both from Trikuta Nagar, were taken to Kailash Hospital in Noida for treatment. Their condition is serious, and updates on their health are expected soon.
Officials have confirmed that the car was registered in Jammu and owned by Baldev Raj Sharma. An investigation is ongoing to find out how the accident happened.
The bodies of the deceased have been sent for post-mortem examinations, and support is being offered to their families during this difficult time. The local community is mourning the loss of these three individuals, who were loved by many.
