Ramban, 7 Feb – The Ramban Police have successfully solved two theft cases, leading to the arrest of the suspects and the recovery of stolen property in the areas covered by Police Station Ramban and Police Station Gool.
In the first case, an ATM theft was reported at Police Station Ramban. The police registered FIR No. 14/2025 and began their investigation. They arrested Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Salam Din, who lives in Village Sundgali Maitra B, Ramban. It was found that he had taken Rs. 20,000 from the ATM account of Mohd Sharief, son of Ghulam Nabi, who lives in Sawani Tehsil, District Ramban.
In another case, Police Station Gool received a complaint about stolen iron bars, leading to FIR No. 13/2025. The police acted quickly, using technical help and CCTV footage to identify the suspects. They arrested two men: Mohd Ashraf, son of Abdul Rashid Lohar, from Jamslan Tehsil Mohore in District Reasi, and Mohd Shafi, who lives in Gagraa Tata Pani Gool.
During questioning, both suspects admitted to the theft. The police were able to recover iron bars worth Rs. 50,000 based on their information.
