The National Health Mission (NHM) in Jammu & Kashmir has issued a warning about fake job advertisements that are spreading on social media. These ads falsely claim to offer jobs for Community Health Officers (CHOs) for the year 2024 and are mainly coming from an online portal.
NHM J&K has made it clear that they have not released any official job advertisements for CHOs or any other positions. This misinformation has confused many job seekers, leading NHM to take action against these false claims.
In their statement, NHM J&K urged people to ignore these fake notifications and be careful about misleading information that could trick them. They stressed the importance of getting job updates only from trusted sources.
To help job seekers find accurate information, NHM J&K advised them to check the official NHM J&K website at jknhm.jk.gov.in for any job openings. This website is the only place where real recruitment information will be posted.
Officials have reminded job seekers to be cautious and verify any job announcements through official channels to avoid being misled. As the job market is competitive, it’s important for candidates to stay informed through reliable sources.
Clarification:
It is for the information of general public that at present no advertisement has been issued for recruitment of CHOs or any other category of staff by State Health Society, NHM, J&K and any notifications claiming otherwise are false and misleading.— NHM, J&K (@NHMJK5) January 29, 2025
NHM J&K is dedicated to keeping the recruitment process clear and honest, and they encourage the community to report any suspicious job offers or ads that do not come from official sources.
