Sharma shared his sadness for the families who lost loved ones and promised that the government would help them. He also talked about the importance of teaching young people to be proud of their country and encouraged everyone to join community programs.
“Our main goal is to make sure every family in Badhaal knows about and can use government help programs,” Sharma said. He asked those who have been moved from Badhaal to take part in campaigns to learn about health, education, and social welfare programs.
Besides the Republic Day celebration, the revenue department has been helping families by giving out blankets to those who have been relocated.
The illness has mostly affected three families, with 13 children among those who have died since December 7. To support the villagers, National Conference leader and Budhal MLA Javed Iqbal Choudhary, along with the Government Medical College in Rajouri, organized a lunch for those currently being watched.
Choudhary and medical college principal AS Bhatia joined the villagers for lunch and promised to support them during this hard time. Right now, 53 villagers are being monitored at the medical college, while nearly 300 others are staying at the Government Nursing College and the Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School.
As the community deals with this tough situation, the government’s efforts to provide help and share information about available resources are very important for the people of Badhaal to recover and move forward.
