The nominees for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards were revealed on Wednesday morning. This year, the musical “Wicked” and the series “Shōgun” led the nominations, each receiving five nods. The SAG Awards celebrate outstanding performances in film and television, as chosen by members of SAG-AFTRA.
Originally, actors Joey King and Cooper Koch were scheduled to announce the nominations live. However, due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles County, the announcement was made via press release instead.
The SAG Awards ceremony will be streamed live on Netflix for the first time on Sunday, February 23, with Kristen Bell serving as the host.
