PM Modi to Inaugurate New Trains Linking Kashmir and Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will start five new train services in January, connecting Delhi to the Kashmir Valley. This will make travel easier and more comfortable for people.

These new trains will have modern features like heating systems to keep passengers warm during the cold winter months. Prime Minister Modi will officially open the Jammu Railway Division from New Delhi on January 6.

Railway officials say these trains will use advanced technology to run smoothly even in bad weather, like extreme cold and snow, which are common in the Valley. The heating systems in the train coaches are a first for Indian Railways, designed to improve comfort on routes in colder areas.

The Railway Ministry will soon announce details about the schedule, stops, and ticket bookings for these new train services.

The Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBL) is a big project by Indian Railways to connect the Kashmir Valley with the rest of India.
