A YouTuber named Akash Sagar is in trouble for making a video inside a church in Meghalaya. In the video, he and his friends shouted “Jai Shri Ram” and changed Christian songs in a way that upset many people. This happened at the Church of Epiphany in Mawlynnong.

A local activist saw the video and complained to the police, saying Akash wanted to insult Christians and cause problems between different religious groups. Because of this complaint, the police filed a case against Akash and his friends for entering the church without permission and hurting people’s religious feelings.
Akash responded on social media, asking why saying “Jai Shree Ram” was wrong and called his critics “traitors.” He also mentioned a court case where similar charges were dropped.
The police are now investigating and trying to find Akash. A social activist, Angela Rangad, also asked for legal action, saying Akash’s actions were meant to create division and insult minority cultures.
A Hindu group called the Central Puja Committee (CPC) criticized Akash’s behavior. They want the police to take strong action against him.
