On Tuesday, police reported that a woman named Khurshi Begam from Looswani Pulwama died after being pushed by her son-in-law during an argument with his wife in the Gudoora area of Pulwama.
An FIR has been filed, and the son-in-law is now at the Pulwama police station. The investigation is ongoing.
The incident happened around 6 PM when Khurshi Begum was brought dead to District Hospital Pulwama. She was visiting her daughter Rafeeqa Bano’s home in Gudoora. Rafeeqa and her husband, Mohammad Aslam Mir, were arguing, and Khurshi got involved.
During the argument, Mohammad Aslam Mir reportedly pushed Khurshi, causing her to collapse.
Rafeeqa Bano filed a written complaint against her husband, leading to FIR No. 257/2024 being registered at Pulwama Police Station. The police are investigating the case.
