Jammu, Nov 17: The Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha presided over a high-level meeting with senior civil and police officials, as well as DCs and SSPs from the Jammu Division to assess the progress of development initiatives and the security landscape in the area.
The meeting included participation from Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo; DGP Nalin Prabhat; Principal Secretary for Home Chandraker Bharti; ADGP (Law & Order) Vijay Kumar; ADGP Jammu Anand Jain; ADGP CID Nitish Kumar; Principal Secretary to the Lieutenant Governor Mandeep Bhandari; Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar; and DIGs, Deputy Commissioners, and SSPs from all districts in the Jammu Division.
At the start of the meeting, the Lieutenant Governor stressed that through enhanced collaboration and a comprehensive governmental approach, the objective should be the total eradication of terrorism along with dismantling the entire support system behind it. He instructed the officers to remain relentless until all terrorist threats are eliminated.

“Decisive actions are essential against those who facilitate and support the terror network. Completely eradicating terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir will be your most significant contribution not only to enhancing security and fostering peace but also in advancing the development and brighter future of J&K,” the Lieutenant Governor told the officials.
The Lieutenant Governor also highlighted the necessity for ongoing oversight of project execution and pointed out the crucial role of rapid infrastructure development.
He urged the Deputy Commissioners to implement comprehensive strategies for expanding public outreach initiatives and achieving 100% coverage of all government programs.
Monitoring the saturation of beneficiary-oriented schemes should be our top priority, in addition to carrying out the Holistic Agriculture Development Programmer and encouraging entrepreneurial initiatives like One District One Product, which could benefit a wide segment of the population, he further noted.
