3 police officers were injured on Sunday when an escort vehicle in the convoy of former Chief Minister and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti had an accident. The incident took place in Hadipora village in Block Rohama, North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Officials reported that the Bolero escort vehicle, with the registration number CH 80395, lost control and skidded off the road. The injured officers are Head Constable Firdous Ahmad, Selection Grade Constable Mohd Ayaz, and Selection Grade Constable Nisar Ahmad.
The injured officers were taken to a hospital for treatment and are said to be in stable condition.
The police are looking into the accident and have acknowledged the situation. More information will be provided as the investigation continues.
