Srinagar, Nov 19: A 40-year-old individual lost his life after being struck by a tipper in the Omoh Verninag region of Anantnag district in south Kashmir on Tuesday morning.
According to officials, the man was hit by a tipper early this morning near Omoh Verinag, resulting in his immediate death. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene following the incident, officials reported. The victim has been identified as Moh Shafi Khan (45), the son of Mohd Yaqoob Khan, who resided in Omoh Verinag.
The police have filed a case regarding this incident, and an investigation is currently underway, the officials added.
