Jammu, 28 January 2025 – A bus carrying pilgrims to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine crashed into a parked dumper truck on Tuesday, injuring at least 15 people. The accident happened in Nagrota on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle.
Among the injured are three children and two women, but all are reported to be in stable condition. They were taken to the Government Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
Authorities are looking into what caused the driver to lose control. The Mata Vaishno Devi shrine is a popular place for pilgrims, and safety on the roads is very important for those traveling there.
